Two Greedy Scots

Spurred on by Two Greedy Italians MOH and I had our first attempt at making pizza completely from scratch tonight.

For the uninitiated the Two Greedy Italians, Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo, feature in a BBC2 programme following their journey through Italy reminiscing about the old ways and cooking some fantastic food en route.

MOH and I have been fans of both these men for some time so having them together in one programme was a 'must see' and it hasn't disappointed. Their easy way and companiable manner must surely have worked wonders for the Italian tourist board.

So tonight we put one of the cookery books from the two series to good use and tried to emulate a Pizza Contaldo with a bit of our own taste thrown in.
