Red-wattled Lapwing

Seen over and over again but this one was an ideal test of my lens in lower light. Did you know they screech 'Did he do it, did he do it' and dive bomb you if you go near their very sad looking 'Scrape' in the earth where they lay their eggs? Well they are in abundance here and they are noisy and very inquisitive, they also see to tolerate me which is nice and often strike a photogenic pose! Very impressed with the feather detail and the colours.
