Eastside Adventures - Day 1 Ashnola River

For adventurous river people in the Pacific Northwest springtime usually entails trips over the mountains to catch the beginning of the snow melt and also dry our bones from the cool mild spring the west side of the mountains see. This weekend we went north and east to BC in the upper Okanagon valley to escape the crowds in WA.

The Ashnola River is 15mi of read and run continuous class IV to IV+ whitewater (aka pure bliss) for kayakers. When we got off the river I still felt like I was falling...
