Robin for Easter?
Lovely story on the radio this morning. A very upset old gent phoned up virtually crying as he explained how he'd lost his walking stick. He'd made it himself 25 years ago using a ram's curly horn and a tree root he'd dried out in his loft for 4 years. He thought he'd lost it in B&Q a couple of days ago. He wasn't sure whether he'd lost it in the store or driven off with it on the roof of his car.
While Bob was still weeping down the phone, another listener phoned up to say he'd had to stop his car leaving B&Q to get out to move a walking stick off the road and he stuck it in the bushes at the side.
The radio station then rang the store asking them to search the bushes by the exit road. It was a happy ending and the old chap was delighted. I don't think he'll be leaving his walking stick anywhere daft again soon...
In other news, it rained all day long. I look 200 and have a big red nose like Rudolph. I did get out for scampi and chips at the Black Boy in Knowle though. I couldn't stop yawning after.
That's it! I am posting quickly before I nod off again.
