And now for something completely different...

OK, I lied. I have done a robin before but at least we have had three different birds this week; four if you count my pigeon. Sigh! I haven't seen him at all today. There were no other pigeons around either. I just hope they weren't attending the funeral of my unfortunate friend....

Oh well. I have not seen this particular robin before though. I know that because he spent ten minutes eating suet cake and just sat there resting his stomach and posing for photos before flying off. I have never had a robin who eats suet cake before. My usual ones just have mealworms with a side order of Kelloggs Special K and Red Berries.

Strangely I woke up with a very sore nose bridge this morning and puffy eyes! I can only conclude that I had a violent disagreement with myself in the night and punched myself, or the spiders are getting bigger. It's a mystery to me anyway.

Work was very busy but fine. Quite a few people needed setting up with various things Oracle wise, there were quite a few purchase orders to raise and I changed the payslip program again prior to next week's runs. I have just remembered something I completely forgot and have sent a reminder to my work email address so I can do it first thing tomorrow.

The window cleaner appeared in the middle of the afternoon and I went out to tell him that I'd put his payment straight in his account but he had his earphones in listening to music when I went out. He was so startled when he did notice me that he sprayed me with his water brush and gave me my second soapy shower of the day. Marvellous! Just what I wanted.....

That's it. Nothing else happened today. After my second day back at work, it's just as well!
