The Road to the lagoons

A few weeks ago we were supposed to have a camera club field trip to the Wairau Lagoons, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. However, as this is the last weekend before daylight savings (and the light was quite nice), I thought that Mr S and I should go down there for an evening walk. The light was spectacular, and I only wish I'd taken a headtorch so that I could have stayed down longer and got some really promising moon rise shots. Next time!

Oh, and despite going for an awesome walk, I put the calories back on by getting take-away Pizza for tea. Woops - will have to work it off up Mt Robertson on Sunday!
