Yellow Rose of Basingstoke

Spotted this rose waking up on my way into work today.

I also photographed it on my way home and the day has not been kind to it...

Another sort of so-so day at work, nothing terribly good or bad, which on balance isn't such a bad thing. This evening we had a meeting of the local sustainability group in our dining room which went very well.
