Misty Morning

What a difference a day makes. Back under 10 degrees and a cold misty start for the train journey today. Day 2 of the training course. Brain is full of new things, hope they stay in there for when I need them!

Random Bits and Bobs

- Being called the 'unsexy team' by the trainer is never good. He was referring to the hydraulic modelling technique (geek alert #1) rather than our looks, so he said! We got the job done though!
- Playing with a real model, rather than a computer one, was quite good fun (geek alert #2). Like being a kid again and splashing about with things
- I was reminded that Geographers are at their happiest with a map and coloured pens! (geek alert #3)
