Hawes Water
We went for our favourite walk today, over Arnside Knott and back via Black Dyke, with a stop at the cafe in Arnside for a light lunch and an ice cream on the prom. Although it was sunny there was still a bite in the air and very few spring flowers were showing. It was nice hearing woodpeckers and nuthatches in the woods and ravens flying over. I took a few photographs, but it wasn't until I did a second walk around Hawes Water later in the day that I found landscape and light conditions that interested me - so it's yet another moody, almost monochrome shot today,
