Hellebore

Busy day again. Family came for lunch and, bless them, to help in the garden. I made their favourite leek and potato soup, hummus and Victoria sponge and they brought cream cakes, hot cross buns and French bread. My daughter sowed some seeds and helped generally in the greenhouse. As we walked round commenting on the new growth, I was stunned by this hellebore. They are really amazing value at this time of year. Must get some more. We had a lovely afternoon and they left about 5 30 after tea and cream cakes. I stayed out in the late sunshine until 7 30 and finished weeding the white border.
