Bairns not Bombs

Today I was in Glasgow at the Scrap Trident rally in George Square. A year ago I was here in the same place, for the same reason, in the middle of the CND Springwalk from Holyrood to Faslane. Then, as today, I listened to Nicola Sturgeon, "The most dangerous woman in Britain" promise to work for the abolition of nuclear weapons in Scotland.
Today I had travelled with Caroline and Jessica from the Allanton World Peace Sanctuary in Auldgirth. I was privileged to help them carry the huge banner proclaiming "May Peace Prevail on Earth". Politics aside, that's what it's all about - wanting a world where we and our children can live in peace and harmony.
