The road to Peace

Day Four of the Springwalk and we have made it to Glasgow. This was a shorter walking day, a mere 12 miles from Coatbridge to the West End. Here you can see the walkers passing underneath the M8. In the foreground is the youngest participant, who is 12. He is walking with his two older brothers and his sister.
Amazingly, the rain held off again...
Tomorrow is a rest day. Instead of rising at 6.30 for breakfast, making lunches and tidying up, we can have a lie in and meet in George Square at 10.30 for a short march and a rally at 12. Speakers include Nicola Sturgeon, Lesley Riddoch, and Rev Sally Foster - Fulton, and we will be entertained by the drumming group Sheboom.
