Last practice walk

Despite the start of the Easter break, 6 dedicated students still came out to the Kalmthoutse Heide to participate in a practice walk - a requirement before I can allow them to go on an Adventurous Journey. During the wslk students should demonstrate their map and navigation skills, their self-reliance and how they work as a team.
The Belgian rail services didn't make things easy for us - due to works on the rail line there were no trains. So after taking a train, replacement bus and another train we finslly arrived. The students did a good 15 km walk. Now it is time to relax with the family in Goedereede!
