Adventurous day

This morning we explored the rugged terrain of Seroe Colorado on the very tip of the island with it's igneous rocks, natural bridge and huge waves crashing onto the coastline. Besides the waves it almost feels you're walking in a Martian landscape, red from all the iron in the rocks) and dry.
In the afternoon we went out with Ulysses of Aruba Canoe (www.arubacanoe.com) in the outrigger canoe. Not 'native' to Aruba these outrigger canoes (Southern Hemisphere, Fiji etc.) After some onshore instruction about paddle handling we set off for a tour on Governor's Bay. These canoes are surprisingly stable (we tested them on some pretty big waves). We had a great time out on the water. Photo credits go to Ulysses, thank you!
