Under the skin

This is an activity event run by the Wildlife Trust in Cae Glas Park, Oswestry yesterday. As well as information about the trust there were  materials for people to try to make a bird's nest using tweezers.

This gentleman had brought some of his vast collection of skulls. It was fascinating to see their different shapes and sizes and attempt to guess which creature they came from. They all looked so much smaller than heads covered in skin and fur or feathers. 

It's great to just be walking across the park and to come across something so interesting!
