Yellowcraigs
I drove to Yellowcraigs beach in East Lothian near Dirleton and North Berwick. I decided to do a bit of exploring before heading to the beach, so I walked along the track that goes through the forest and eventually took a path down to the beach. I entered the east section of the beach which has wonderful views of Berwick Law and the Bass rock in addition to the views of Fidra. I enjoyed taking photos of the tide coming in.
Fidra can be seen in the far left of this photo. The lighthouse on this small island was designed by the Thomas and David Allen Stevenson. The island is thought to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Treasure Island' following visits with his father.
