Today I am writing to you with every good intention.

I'm currently on the train to Manchester to visit my (fabulous) boyfriend. This is the first time I've been so it's quite the adventure. I'm hoping everything goes down smoothly.

I'm sitting in the first carriage on my own on a two seated row. I'm parallel to the most lovely family. A man and a woman and three lovely girls. They are too cute. And the baby keeps making faces at me.

It's not a long train journey it's just tiresome sitting on your bum for two and a half hours. All worth it of course. I would say I'm nearly half way there. Which is pretty good going but I'm thinking there's a snooze on the cards.

I also think I've listened to uptown funk about 10 times but it only gets better each time.
