Cairngorms

What a fantastic day! All day we have had hot sun and cloudless blue skies! Had a great walk with brilliant views into the Cairngorms, curlew and skylarks calling on the moor, then robins and pipits nearer the forest edge. At the lochan, frogs and toads added their chorus, piercing the mirrored surface as they swam in a frenzy, males gripping the females.
