Meadow Pipit

Started the Breeding Bird Survey this morning in my allotted square. Lots more waders than last year, also more grouse and rabbits.
Listening to the snipe drumming was great. They were very active.
Met one of the keepers, it's a keepered moor, pleasant young lad.
