Easter Day 2015!

A lovely sunny day began with Easter Communion on the sands at 0700 as the sun rose, the bonfire beckoned and the multi faith congregation proved what spiritual sustenance there is here  in the Porty community.

A morning walk with all our house guests on the promenade and beach was enriched by the presence of J and D, in Edinburgh briefly. It was lovely to be with them both and to hear at first hand about J's recent  five amazing weeks' NHS volunteering on the Ebola front line in Sierra Leone.  

After an Easter themed lunch the young ones rode the outdoor railway at Vogrie Country Park - which Fyfe loved!  By now it was 19 degrees  and everyone was shedding layers and revelling in the unexpected Bank Holiday mini early April heatwave! Grandpa JS nearly got run over taking this blip!

Pre prandial drinks, this evening,  in our garden as the sun began to set on  a wonderful family day and a lamb roast dinner awaits  now that the little ones have headed bedwards.

A very Happy Easter day all round!
