Red bellied woodpecker

I have been trying to get a photo of this bird all winter at the feeder. No luck. So I went for a walk this AM and there  it was across the road in a tree and totally oblivious to my presence.I actually got several good shots and I just hope I picked the best one. He flew off a few minutes later and was searching for bugs in the telephone pole at the end of the road. My ARRGH moment of the day came when I completely missed a close up of a pileated as I was completely surprised by it passing by 10ft away, camera down , wrong settings etc. Sigh. Oh well , in spite of the fact it is snowing here ( all day) I will say :  Happy Easter (even though it loos like Merry Christmas)
