Down by the river

An evening wander along the river - on these warm evenings I've been heading out of town more than into it, and enjoying the evening light and the almost tropical exuberance of the plants and insects at the moment. In truth I left it a bit late this evening to get the best of the light, but a conveniently placed gate provided a good place to rest my camera for this one.
