Evening on the Orari River, Arundel

Unlike some, I'm always excited when daylight saving comes to an end. Whilst the summer may officially be behind us, dark night skies and early sunsets beckon, all of which are a boon for my kind of photography.

Tonight I decided to head down to the Orari river, on the Arundel side rather than the Geraldine side. Taking the back lanes from home, it didn't take me long to reach the river crossing which I managed to negotiate in The Smurf.

This shot is looking up stream towards the gorge,  with Mount Peel on the right hand side and the start of the Four Peaks range on the left.
