Why is it always a fight!

Can't believe it's almost a year ago that we were sweating upon Joe's A Levels, and the fight we had to get them regraded as we all felt they were wrong, his tutors included, and eventually the fight paid off with them finding a a whole section unmarked and regrading him one mark shy of an A*, leaving us wondering if they did so just to save face.

So off he went to Uni, with the promise of a laptop to help him with his dyslexia. A three year course with much research to be done. A summer of chasing and cajoling, and finally getting agreement for him to receive his entitlement. It was agreed before he left for Uni he would get his laptop for his studies.

Point is, now he's sitting the end of his first year exams, unbelievably a third of the way through his course, and here he is, online. on Skype, talking to us, on his laptop, that he received TODAY!!

How do these 'jobsworth' people in government departments keep their jobs!!!

It's an education!
