Glorious Gorse

The gorse is in full bloom on the heath, its yellow flowers catching the low light of the early evening sunshine.  The flowers can be used in several diffrent ways including to dye wool or to make wine. It has been a glorious day filled with warm sunshine.  I have spent the day in the garden.  Now I sit with the doors open listening to the birds calling to one another as the sun goes down.
