Helping

A fairly chilled day today with a visit to a craft fair at Doddington Hall and their farm shop. A good mix of stalls with not everything being twee; including a lady who was producing mixed media prints - one of which came home with me thanks to Mum. We also brought home pies for lunch and after a trip to B&Q for emergency bin bag purchase (that's what happens when you have a 'special' bin that bog standard bin liners don't fit) we went to Waitrose for a few bits and pieces.

After lunch we have fettled the garden - once the hated job of mowing the lawn was done with. Bailey was intrigued by every tool that came out of the shed, helped himself to various twigs, chased the broom around and took a fancy to the chicken poo pellets.

And tomorrow we have an early start as he is off to the vets for his op. He's there all day and I will generally be looking for distractions.
