MonoMonday: (Digging in the) Earth
At 8:30 this morning our workers arrived to start the process of building our new deck. First, the (empty) hot tub had to be moved off the old deck and then the demolition began. After the deck was down they had to dig out all the support beams and the cement surrounding them with shovels. Then they used the auger in the picture to dig new post holes. In this shot, Scott is sawing through a cement slab while Dane is standing to the side plugging his ears. It was very loud and very dusty! And, of course, there are piles of dirt and rocks all around showing the EARTH they have been digging in. It might be a stretch, but this is my entry for the challenge today. There will be more pictures as it progresses. :-)
Thanks to notowennewitt for hosting the challenge this month!
