Busy Beavers
It has been about a week since the last time I walked this path and there was no damage to these trees. Today I was surprised to see how much "work" the beavers have done on them. They are two of the few left on the banks of a stream that beavers are constantly trying to dam. So as you walk downstream it looks like a tree graveyard along the bank with just the pointy stumps left. Every time they get a dam started, the ranger comes in and destroys it and takes the wood away. Since beavers are nocturnal and the park closes at sunset I've never seen one here, just their handiwork. I think this fits for the first Wild Wednesday. Thanks to Cailleach!
