Rhododendron at Radford Park

I took Basil and Polly (who seem to have kissed and made up) to Radford Park first thing this morning so they could have a shady walk and enjoy a bit of a paddle in the river. This rhododendron over the pond has been catching my eye for a while now so I thought it was about time I took a picture.

I'm now spending the next few hours at my desk writing a presentation on 'The Underlying Assumptions of my Research' and trying to ignore the lovely sunny day outside. Son1 and I are doing another bike ride round the ranges later though so I'll be able to enjoy the outdoors a bit more then.
