another sunny day at the quarry

final day of the long weekend today so made the most of a lie-in. still woke at stupid o'clock but managed to lounge about for a bit all the same.

did a bit of grocery shopping and recycling and then headed out to the back garden (ie. shrewsbury quarry) with a book and a sakalasafari. via waitrose and my first free coffee since lent.

went for a run and added to the slight sunburn.

this evening i have been plied with red wine by some friends of yfc who, i think, thought i needed some counselling and tlc. really, i just needed the wine. i drove there and walked back. it was that kind of evening.
