Visited the Topkapi Palace today which was elaborately beautiful like all the other buildings we have seen thus far. Afterward we went to the labyrinth that is the grab bazaar. Upon exciting we ended up getting grandly lost on the streets of Istanbul. No tourists, only Turkish, no taxis- I loved it. Never again will I travel internationally with my dad though, he adds so much unnecessary stress, ignorance which translates into awkward and rude conversations with people he is not familiar with culturally, and moreover we have completely different expectations for traveling. All in all, it may be day two but we do not travel well together...

That evening Ridvan picked me up again for a night on the town. More hookah, tea, and good conversation by the seaside at a place he goes regularly with friends.
