Clouds and Sunshine

Today Doug, Emily and I left the house at 6am to head up to Sacramento to have breakfast with Chaelon. It poured with rain the whole way till we got there.
After seeing round her place, Denny's was the choice for breakfast. It was good but I'm sure it was two breakfasts I ate, not just one!!
We dropped Chaelon off for her class then headed into old town for a smooch around. I enjoyed taking a few quick snaps. It was dry and sunny then but the sky was growing ever blacker and loud peels of thunder rumbled and before long there were flashes of lightening. The modern glass building and the gold bridge look fantastic against the stormy sky.
Before the rain hit we were back in the car heading to Vacaville to visit Jack. It was so good to see him!
We had hoped to stop in on John and Bev but they were off on holiday.
So we headed down the road, stopping off in San Hose to see Emily's place and get a bite to eat.

When we got back home Hogan was at the door to greet us, wagging his tail, walking round after us and with a sparkle back in his eyes. I think he is definitely on the mend. :)
