Balancing Act

This lone goose was sitting, standing then sitting again on this partition, put in place whilst the main channel of the pond was dredged and the silt used to build up shallower side areas which will be planted in the coming months. It is made of branches and other pond debris. S/he has been the only one around for some days. Many of the ducks have gone too. Perhaps they are all nesting where they cannot be seen. I expect, I hope, they will return soon.

NB. Made a mistake yesterday - ME Awareness Month is May, not April as I said, and the ME Awareness Day is May 12th.
