UP CLOSE . . . CLOSE UP
The name Bubble Car is used to describe small microcars built between 1950 and 1965.
This particular car was first registered in Dundee, Scotland and it is a BMW Isetta. It is my entry in the challenge Wide Angle Wednesday: Up Close and Personal - thank you Mr Hobbs for another grand challenge.
Small and egg-shaped, with bubble-type windows, the entire front end of the car hinged outwards to allow entry. In the event of a crash, the driver and passenger had to exit through the canvas roof. As for fuel consumption, it was capable of over 94 MPG.
Thank you for all your supportive comments and faith - #FCFB
