All Saints Church, Hulcott.
I called here this morning whilst C had a hair do down the road. Locked as you would expect but a fine morning to explore the outside. Interesting to note that there is a moat just to the East of the Churchyard which I had never noticed before. Its probably because there have been leaves on the trees etc.
It a pretty little church with a wooden spire that has been replaced in the last 50 odd years but parts of the inside date from the 14th Century. Last time I visited the wall & canopy over the gate were being renovated. & the chaps have done a great job reusing what timbers & tiles they could to keep the fabric as original as possible.
A lovely lovely day with the afternoon spent pottering in the garden.
Thankfully my migraine has gone so chin chin & enjoy your evening !!
