The halt and the lame!

Margret phoned early to see if we would like to go out in the glorious holiday weather. We opted for Wallington, where it is possible to drive to the walled garden and then do a fairly flat walk around the gardens.

Half way, we found a little sun trap and had tea (me) and ice cream (the others). It was very hot despite the winter clothes you see here. We must have been quite a sight as we trundled around: Mum with her walker, Margret limping due to a sore hip and using 2 walking poles, and me with one crutch!

People of all ages were enjoying the gardens.

Aggie was very good but sore and stiff afterwards. Ice packs are great.
