Today is Draw a Bird Day.  I have created a dastardly Blue-tailed robin for the event, which my sister says looks like a seagull.  Clearly she hasn’t noticed the evil talon in the centre of the feet of the dastardly glint in his eye.
 
Talking of birds, the swallows are back.  Not seen yet, but heard chattering.  Think they must be hunting for a nesting site.  And for the first time in a couple of years here there was a skylark.  Saw and heard a fair number up in Yorkshire, but the pair that used to be round the workshop have been missing in action, until now.  Today is Draw and Hear a Bird day.
