Porty People and Nearby Places

Our antidote to a quiet house after all our Easter visitors was to take advantage of the brilliant weather and walk along part of  The John Muir Way towards North Berwick. 

This was our first serious walk since we returned from The Gulf where walking any distance was nigh  impossible due to the severe heat - apart from the month of January.

While we plodded eastwards on Shanks' pony and returned on the top deck of a First Scottish bus others were playing with their cars, boats and trailers on the west sands at North Berwick!
