High up on Dartmoor

We went on a very enjoyable ten mile walk with a local walking group passing ten tors on the way.  The weather was glorious and the views magnificent.  Skylarks were singing, and a wheat ear was spotted among the rocks and shrubs.  Dartmoor ponies were roaming around even clambering up some of the tors, as were some cows and a few sheep.  We also passed through the remains of a medieval village and a derelict granite quarry.  Can you tell its my first visit to Dartmoor.

This photo was taken at the highest point on the walk, but I can't remember the name of the tor at the moment.
