Edinburgh Old Town hit by UFOs
One of my favourite part of Edinburgh for night time photography is Howe Street at the junction with Great King Street towards the bottom of the New Town. The cobbles here appear to glisten even when they are not wet. Its very convenient for me as well as it is where I park when I go the the Photographic Society.
As I have just bought a 35mm sweet optic for my lens baby I thought I would try it out at this location. When I opened up the aperture I got these lovely doughnut-shaped bokeh rings which I thought gave the whole scene a rather spooky atmosphere and I blended in a f22 version as well to give me the starbursts on there lamp posts.
