Donaldson's School for the Deaf

You can't help but admire the beauty of this old building that sits between Haymarket and Roseburn.

It used to be a school for the deaf before they moved through to Linlithgow a few years ago.

Still a magnificent building but I'm not sure what the future holds as I see there is some work being done in it.

I would assume it's a listed building.

I was working from home this morning before jumping on a train to the Waverley Station at lunchtime.

I had a meeting with a digital marketing company based at York Place and I will be using their expertise on my forthcoming Retargeting campaign.

I followed this up with a meeting with a design consultant for the Edinburgh St James project.

As part of this redevelopment the entire St James area will be getting demolished with the exception of John Lewis. Deconstruction is due to commence September this year with the retail element being completed late 2018.

The hotel should be complete by late 2020.

I walked from Broughton Street all the way to Roseburn to pick up my car which was left there last night.
