Sproughton Water Mill

Sproughton Water Mill is on the edge of the village and is opposite the church that I blipped a few days ago.   I like the reflections in the mill pond that is also part of the River Gipping.
There has been a water mill on this site since 1749 but for whatever reason it was rebuilt in 1829 and was in use until  1946.   It changed hands several times and has now been converted into a private dwelling.  
After a foggy start it warmed up considerably but without the sunshine.   It's now looking rather grey outside so it will probably be another foggy start in the morning.
