So far so good!

Despite our late and convivial night our friends left early this morning and straight afterwards we made our way to Whitley Bay - we are looking after the boys there till Saturday while their parents go to a wedding in Scotland.

We played on the beach where Thomas collected some very big stones, and then we all went to the swings. As you see, Thomas lives to go as high as he can. He has chatted all day. James has been totally chilled, and although getting them both bathed and off to bed was quite hectic for us, they went down straight away.

My Fitbit tells me that I've done over 15,000 steps just running round with the boys!
