Animal Representations- Hare

I took my bicycle into the shop to get it checked over after my mishap a few weeks ago.  Afterwards I swung by Eskbank to capture one of four Running Hare sculpture outside a modern housing development.  The running hares do not have the historical background of some of my other examples of animal representation, but they are very striking.  There are three together on one side of the entrance to the housing development, but this one remains alone on the other side.

In the afternoon, I decided to get back on my bicycle and went for an 8 mile journey near Ormiston.
