another day, another board game

after two days at work, it was time for another day off.

glorious 7k run with agi this morning, looping around the severn and home. running is far less dull when you have a companion, especially one who likes to talk.

then onto the boathouse for coffee and scrabble and chips and a slither of sunshine. cracked the flip-flops out for the first time this year. however, we did have to scurry inside when the sun disappeared.

then onto booka to spend our easter vouchers. surely the best independent bookshop in the whole of shropshire. tried to suss out whether the owner was keen on opening in shrewsbury, in a hope to get an early bid for manager. however, she is far too loyal to our own independent bookshop to ever consider such a thing. nice that friendship comes before business.

now we are at the parents for dinner and beer and masterchef.
