SEAMER STATION

A very mixed day of weather . . .

This is Seamer Station, near Scarborough UK. It is one of the commuter halts on the rail journey to Hull or York. Recently work has been carried out to improve the station.

Around this modern façade there is still evidence of the past – the Old Station Master’s House is still there, but now as a private dwelling. The goods sidings are there – sadly only one signal box remains where there was once three.
