Sporty Bit . . . and a tribute.
Football tomorrow and Boro are on a grand run of results. Nothing much will happen now as we are a bit late for the top league positions – but I have very high hopes for next season.

The image today is a special Boro Supporters Badge – BS are nicknamed Smoggies as the area is full of heavy industry and was always an area dominated by pollution. Today I pay tribute to goalkeeper Rolando Ugolini who died yesterday at the age of 89 years.
He was one of our greatest ever players and joined Boro from Celtic in 1948 – the fee £7,000. He made 335 appearances in total. Flags at the Riverside are flying at half-mast. RIP Ugo !
