Wycoller :)

A trip over to 'the other side' today - aka Lancashire :)
I've been virtual friends with Majoayee for over a year now and it was such a pleasure to meet her for real today, along with her adorable… and very patient hub!  
Wycoller is a little hidden gem… a place which dates back to before the 10th Century BC (so it says on Wiki!)  It was mentioned on Good Morning Britain this week as a secret place to visit.  A place where the Brontes used to visit from Haworth,  a place which the Bronte Way passes through, a place which Ferndean Manor from Jane Eyre was based upon and it features in 'The Railway Children' film.
A short walk takes you up to The Atom which I blipped last April. 
This is the path back down to Wycoller from The Panopticon - how fascinating are the vertical stones lining the fields there and how lovely are the views… not sure what the mountain is in the background… Colne is to the right of it.
