Very cold beach day

The weather had cooled down considerably today but we had planned to go back to Quarry beach after lunch. I didn’t realise how cold it was until we got there. It was very windy too. We put up the windbreaker and we all huddled behind it and had a cup of tea. We could only tolerate the cold for an hour and we packed our bags and went back home.

In the evening, we had planned to have a family BBQ but we all ended up in the kitchen (with the food being cooked outside).
