The keen youngsters from the South East Junior orienteering Squad assembling in the rain for a briefing. No2 son; the tall one in black, wanted to help with the coaching. I went as a taxi driver and photographer. I am no use as a coach because I cannot keep up with those fast young people.

It only rained for an hour. Most of the day was spent in glorious sunshine.
